Hello, beautiful Roermond!
Of course you know this lady. Isn’t she wonderful? I’m so glad she’s here! My first visit to Roermond was in 2018 – that’s when this picture was taken, when all the work was being done on Munsterplein. Now I walk through Munsterplein several times a week, and I often stop to gaze at this sculpture.
The Dutch artist, Lotta Blokker, works in Amsterdam. I find her sculptures moving and beautiful, so I watch her website, hoping for a show of her work sometime.
